Step 1: Prepare Student List

Create a CSV file with student and parent information:

Emma Johnson,Sarah Johnson,sarah.j@email.com,Grade 5,Mrs. Smith,15 Mar 2025,Science Museum
Liam Brown,Michael Brown,michael.b@email.com,Grade 5,Mrs. Smith,15 Mar 2025,Science Museum
Olivia Davis,Jennifer Davis,jennifer.d@email.com,Grade 5,Mrs. Smith,15 Mar 2025,Science Museum

Required columns:

  • parent_name - Parent/guardian name
  • parent_email - Parent email address

Optional columns (for merge fields):

  • student_name - Student's name
  • grade - Student's grade level

Step 2: Create a Campaign

    • Trip Date (merge_date) → trip_date
    • Trip Location (merge_text) → trip_location
  2. Place signature and date fields for parent
Personalization

Each parent receives a permission slip with their child's name, grade, teacher, and trip details automatically filled in.

Step 4: Send Campaign

  2. Set reminder frequency - e.g., every 2 days
  3. Set expiry date - e.g., 7 days before trip
